Dogs

Dogs on leashes are okay at Twin Rivers. Klein doesn’t allow pets at all, so please leave your furry friend at home.

Hot dogs will be every game possible — if you’re not playing, we’d love to have your help serving all the teams by cheering and bringing the players and fans fresh cooked hot dogs! See Ross to let him know you’d like to be part of this team.

Youth Group Meeting Change March 24

We are doing something different this week at a different day and time.

We are going Roller Skating at the Marysville Skate Inn on Saturday March 24 from 7 pm to 9 pm. This is the time that the skating is to Christian music. The cost is $4.00 and includes the skate rental. Youth and all family members are welcome!

You can either meet us at the rink, or if you need a ride, come to Art and Nancy’s no later than 6:30 pm on Saturday and we will drive you to the rink. Afterward, we will bring you back to our house, or deliver you home!

As we are skating on Saturday March 24, there is no Youth Group on Sunday 3/25!

Youth Group: Movie Night – Courageous

For the Youth Group on April 1, we’re planning to show the movie Courageous. This is a two hour movie, so I would like for Youth Group to be at Art and Nancy’s at 4:30 pm, instead of the usual 5:00 pm.

We will be done by 7:00 pm. Also, if any of you want to come see the movie also – you are invited! Just let Art or Nancy know you will be attending with your son or daughter so we can make sure to have enough dinner for everyone!

Women’s Retreat

April 13th & 14th at Warm Beach.

it is retreat time again! Last year there were some requests for a spring retreat so we decided to plan it for April the 13th and 14th.

We are going to Warm Beach and will be staying at Bayview Ranch house.

It sleeps 35 so there is plenty of room! 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths! This is a more rustic setting than Whidbey Island so there are some changes to the things we need to bring with us. You will need to bring your own linens. Including mattress cover pads, (the mattresses are plastic) sheets, blankets or sleeping bags, pillows and towels, the beds are mostly twins with some fulls. There are linens available to rent at Warm Beach if you don’t want to bring your own. The cost is as follows: $9.00 includes Towel, wash cloth, hand towel, sheets, blanket and pillowcase.

Our cost is only $65.00 which includes 3 meals, delivered to our house. We have a microwave (but no stove) a commercial coffee pot and fridge in the kitchen. So feel free to bring all the snacks and/or drinks you want. (Hint hint) There will be coffee and tea but you might want to bring your favorite creamers. There are also no kitchen utensils; this is a very empty house. So bring whatever you need with you.

We are planning a much more relaxed retreat this year, no formal schedule or speaker this time. Vicki Johnston will speak on “Spring Cleaning” after breakfast on Saturday morning but the rest of the time will be for fellowshipping with each other and just relaxing. It is our hope that we can build new and deeper relationships with each other. Please bring puzzles, games, cards, movies, (we have a TV and DVD player) and CD’s.

We are also planning to have a PJ party on Friday night with popcorn and movies. Again you can bring movies. And of course if you have a puzzle or games you want to bring there will be plenty of time to do that!

Arrival time is any time after 5pm and we need to be checked out by 2 pm Sat.

Leadership Prayer
