Pastor Chris Musulman

Pastor Chris has served the Lord in ministry since 1974, primarily in the Arts and Spiritual Development. He and his wife Tammy have been married for over 33 years and have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren.

In his own words:

“Imagine with me for a moment… I’m envisioning a place where acceptance is valued over judgement… a place where grace always wins… a place where stodgy tradition isn’t even an option… a place where religion finally dies. Are you still with me? Then read on, if you dare.

“When Christ came the first time, He made His intent clear: He came to rescue, not judge. If that was His mission, shouldn’t it be ours? I seek to be in a church that conducts itself as a counseling center where condemnation is thoroughly inappropriate, and grace generously shown. I see a church where it is commonplace to give or receive an embrace, a handshake, a smile, a listening ear, a place where we can talk frankly as adults about things that are challenging, perplexing, hard, encouraging, purposeful, embarrassing, funny, uncomfortable – but most of all, real.

“I am imagining a church where affection is the rule rather than the exception… a place where there is a free exchange of acceptance and understanding… a place where a passionate expression of worship is commonly seen… a place where abandoned living for Christ is the norm.

“I am looking for a place where I can bring people to God and the tools for doing so will be:

  • Grace
  • Living well
  • Communicating genuinely
  • Connecting regularly
  • Excelling in all we do
  • Thinking outside the box
  • Being real
  • Having fun

“Do we want the same things?”
